The Alternative Breaks program through the Office of Student Life strives to build conscious leaders and citizens through programs that educate participants on environmental, social, and global issues. Students participate in service learning and reflection, while providing direct service.
Alternative Spring Break 2015
This year the Office of Student Life will be sponsoring the Alternative Spring Break Trip to Memphis, TN. While in Memphis students will have the opportunity to work with Living Lands and Waters to clean up the Mississippi River and learn about environmental issues. No prior experience is necessary.

Cost of the trip is $60 non-refundable deposit that will cover transportation, lodging, and most meals. The trip will be held during spring break so students will not be missing any classes. Students will leave on Sunday, March 1st and return on Friday, March 6th.
